Facebook: GIF booth at the US Embassy

Muster designed and delivered a compelling video booth experience that sat at the heart of the US Embassy’s 4th July celebrations at Wingfield House. Live for the duration of the event, the installation was a huge hit with guests and built on the NYC theme with a real taxi cab and dynamic Manhattan backdrop.

Following a competitive pitch, we were tasked with creating an interactive content experience that would ensure Facebook stood out among the various brand activations across the large, outdoor Embassy site.

To continue the event's NYC theme we adapted an existing taxi cab unit to include a raised step, event branding and lighting effects as the centrepiece of the experience.

Learnings from previous content capture experiences suggested that by adding a sense of movement into the scene ensures guests feel more comfortable to then add their own actions.

The scene was then completed with a number of oversized red, white and blue balloons designed to sway gently in the wind and add further movement to the experience.

unmissable experience

The experience generated over 200 GIF files that were emailed to guests in real-time and then shared to #J4Winfield. We also printed more than 350 unique images for guests to take away. The US Embassy team then followed up the event by saying,‘…a giant thanks you for the photo booth last night – I think it’s safe to say it was quite a hit with our guests! As mentioned, the Ambassador and his wife absolutely loved it…’
